YOUTH

“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
(1 Timothy 4:13)

The Youth Programme at Prophet Elias’ Greek Orthodox Church tries to meet the present needs of our youth and offer Orthodox Christian guidance for their future.

The Youth Programme has these components:

1. Teen Talk (G.O.Y.A.)
   
   Advisors help teens explore and understand themselves and the world around them from an Orthodox Christian perspective through activities and open discussions.
   
   Every Sunday morning the Teen Talk group meets during Church School from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
   
   Every Wednesday evening, in conjunction with the dance programme, the Teen Talk group meets from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    
2. Greek Dance Programme

3. Special Activities  
   
   These activities include serving at St. John the Merciful’s Street Mission, Bowling Night, Movie Night, etc.
