The
"Nea Genea" Greek folk and modern dance programme of Prophet Elias Church is directed by Lou Kalaitzis. The programme offers instruction and performance opportunities for pre-teens, teens and beyond. Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings and are scheduled according to age and ability.
“Teen Talk” youth group is an opportunity for young people to relax and open up with their friends. Advisors help teens explore and understand themselves and the world around them from an Orthodox Christian perspective through activities and open discussions. Pre-teens
(12 years old and under): Mondays 6:00
p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
(10-12 years old): Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Dance instruction fee: $125
Teens (13 -19 years old): 7:00 p.m. – 8:30
p.m.
Dance instruction fee: $150
Senior Teen classes "Nea Genea": 8:30 p.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Dance instruction fee: $150
For payments received after October 31, a $25 late fee applies.
